Rebalance Wellness was founded by our lead practitioner, Zara Pranskunas, who was born and raised on the beautiful coast of the Mornington Peninsula.
This space has been a realisation of her deep desire to marry her own passion for natural health, and the true joy of connecting with the people she treats.
During her 15 years in the wellness industry, Zara always envisioned creating a space that would become a wellness hub to the greater peninsula community.
A space where one could access many forms of support, self-care, nourishment and connection.
After finishing her degree, she travelled from China, to Nepal, Europe and then onto Morocco where she worked and immersed herself in natural medicine and further developed her own skills in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. When she returned to the Peninsula, her dream to open this wellness space became even clearer.
Beginning in her small home studio in 2017, she kept searching for the ideal location and wellness team of dedicated practitioners to nurture Rebalance Wellness into being.
In 2021, the dream finally became a reality, and our doors were open and ready to welcome the community into our studio.
It has been designed to be a place of calmness and tranquillity ~ full of greenery and earthly furniture with the mindful intent that you feel a sense of peace when you walk through our doors.

Practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Zara is the founder and lead practitioner of Rebalance Wellness. She has been in the health industry for over 15 years, beginning her journey as a massage therapist in 2008. Since this time, she has nurtured a fascination for wellness, the human body and all things natural health.
She studied full time at RMIT University for 5 years to complete her double degree of Chinese Medicine and Health Science. She graduated at the top of her class in 2015, completing the degree with an intensive internship at the Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine where she lived, worked and immersed herself in the traditional medicine in Nanjing China for four months.
After graduating she travelled throughout Nepal and Europe before settling in North Africa, Morocco. She based herself in the small seaside town of Essaouira, where she worked side by side with a General Practitioner for over two years.
Since returning to her practice on the Mornington Peninsula, she has continued to nurture her clinical skills with a strong dedication to research, specialised trainings, and extensive clinical hours.
Zara’s own experience with autoimmune disease has given her a depth to her treatments, allowing her to really empathise with those dealing with chronic conditions or barriers to the healing process. She emphasises the importance of self-care and how to empower those she treats to nurture their own health in a sustainable and enjoyable way.
She is grateful every time she steps into the treatment room, feeling most at ‘home’ when helping her patients. While she warmly welcomes everyone into the clinic, she has a passion for helping people with pain disorders/injuries, digestive issues, stress and emotional conditions, women’s health and fertility.
Practitioner of Myotherapy
Emma is a Myotherapist with over 25 years experience and has recently returned back to the Peninsula after some time interstate.Prior to relocating, she owned and operated her own wellbeing clinic locally for 10 years and has extensive experience in the industry.
With post graduate studies including a Bachelor of Health Science, Pilates and Yoga instruction and Nutrition she draws on her various modalities and extensive knowledge to tailor her treatments to the individuals unique requirements.
Emma uses Myotherapy (including the use of dry needling, cupping, soft tissue therapy and exercise prescription) to treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries that cause pain and tension and effect mobility – from physical, mental and emotional stressors.
Emma is excited to be back in the local community again and working with the multi talented team at Rebalance.

Briony is a warm-hearted and deeply compassionate massage therapist, dedicated to nurturing the wellbeing of her clients.
With many years of experience practising on the Mornington Peninsula, she brings a gentle confidence and intuitive touch to every session.
Her treatments are a beautiful blend of symmetry and therapeutic pressure… designed to soften muscular tension, promote healing, and restore balance.
With Briony, you’ll enter a space of quiet restfulness, leaving each session feeling renewed in both body and mind.
Practitioner of Kinesiology and Shiatsu
Geoffrey is a Kinesiology and Shiatsu practitioner. He has been in practice for 26 years and has clinics in Brunswick, Adelaide as well as Rebalance Wellness. He has also worked in Germany from 2006, a visit which also led to him studying Family Constellation work and incorporating constellation patterns and intergenerational family patterns into a bodywork setting.
As a student of Neural Organisation Technique, which focuses on meeting and unravelling the body’s primary survival programs, he had early exposure to trauma-based training and has made this a central part of his practice.
As a trainer at the Australian Shiatsu College as well as at Fire Element Acupressure, he brings the insights of Traditional East-Asian medicine, with its version of connection between body, emotion and thought to all his treatments.
He especially values working with people who are prepared to undertake a journey of releasing past pain (physical or emotional), past patterns and creating a more integrated, resilient body/mind system. This state best supports an easier, more present experience of life, better health and overall constitutional balance.
Practitioner of Reiki
Alicia has dedicated over 10 years to the practice of Reiki, a journey that began after she received a diagnosis of kidney failure. Struggling with years of depression and anxiety, she discovered the profound healing benefits of Reiki, which helped calm her nervous system, restore vitality, and alleviate physical discomfort. Inspired by her own transformative experience, Alicia felt compelled to learn Reiki and share its benefits with others.
Her approach to Reiki is intuitive and gentle, focusing on the deeper layers of trauma. Alicia empowers her clients by equipping them with tools they can incorporate into their daily lives, fostering a sense of autonomy and enabling them to align with the change they desire.
Passionate about the healing potential of Reiki, Alicia aims to support individuals across all areas of life, particularly those facing medical or mental health challenges. She works collaboratively with her clients, always honouring and complementing their ongoing medical treatments
