A systematic review with a multi-level meta-analysis of 41 original studies demonstrates that static stretching exercises can improve both muscle strength and power, and can significantly improve flexibility.

As poor flexibility and decreased range of motion is heavily correlated with falls and injury, improving flexibility through stretching and yoga exercises is thus an extremely under-utilised way to improve your health-span.

She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from Torrens University and a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Sciences (Honours) from Deakin University.
