Acupuncture for Hay-Fever and Allergies.

Acupuncture for Hay-Fever and Allergies.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Spring is the season where the Liver Qi becomes most active; supporting the flow of emotions, energy, and wellbeing.

For many, however, this seasonal shift can overwhelm the Liver Qi, causing physical challenges such as hay-fever, allergies, and immune imbalances.

In TCM, symptoms such as sneezing, itchy eyes, and sinuses are often seen as a sign that the body’s Wei Qi ~ our immune defence energy ~ is struggling to adapt.

TCM uses acupuncture and traditional herbal medicine to alleviate these symptoms ~ by regulating the immune system, reducing inflammation, and restoring the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body.

Specific acupuncture points can calm overactive histamine responses, whilst Chinese Herbal Medicine formulas can strengthen your lung and spleen systems.

Whether navigating allergies, feeling depleted, or simply wishing to stay grounded during this seasonal shift, please know that our beautiful team of warm and caring practitioners are here to support you!
