Zara Pranskunas

Practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Zara is the founder and lead practitioner of Rebalance Wellness. She has been in the health industry for over 15 years, beginning her journey as a massage therapist in 2008. Since this time, she has nurtured a fascination for wellness, the human body and all things natural health.

She studied full time at RMIT University for 5 years to complete her double degree of Chinese Medicine and Health Science. She graduated at the top of her class in 2015, completing the degree with an intensive internship at the Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine where she lived, worked and immersed herself in the traditional medicine in Nanjing China for four months.

After graduating she travelled throughout Nepal and Europe before settling in North Africa, Morocco. She based herself in the small seaside town of Essaouira, where she worked side by side with a General Practitioner for over two years.

Since returning to her practice on the Mornington Peninsula, she has continued to nurture her clinical skills with a strong dedication to research, specialised trainings, and extensive clinical hours.

Zara’s own experience with autoimmune disease has given her a depth to her treatments, allowing her to really empathise with those dealing with chronic conditions or barriers to the healing process. She emphasises the importance of self-care and how to empower those she treats to nurture their own health in a sustainable and enjoyable way.

She is grateful every time she steps into the treatment room, feeling most at ‘home’ when helping her patients. While she warmly welcomes everyone into the clinic, she has a passion for helping people with pain disorders/injuries, digestive issues, stress and emotional conditions, women’s health and fertility.

Rebecca Morrison

Practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Rebecca is a registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Chinese Herbal Dispenser with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

She graduated from RMIT University after completing a 5-year double degree in Chinese Medicine and Health Sciences. Rebecca also spent one year living in China learning Chinese, and whilst there completed a four week internship in the Chinese Medicine department at Zhoupu Hospital in Shanghai. This experience gave her a greater appreciation of how both Chinese and Western medicine can work in synergy to achieve optimum health results.

Rebecca loves working with patients towards their treatment goals, and providing tailored treatments to meet individual needs. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, with a special interest in women’s health and fertility, acute and chronic pain, poor sleep and energy, stress, digestive issues and skin conditions.

Kim Le Tet

Practitioner of Kinesiology

Kim has been practicing Kinesiology for 3 incredible years. She was so awed by her own experience of Kinesiology that she felt compelled to immerse herself into understanding how it works.

Seeing the life changing way Kinesiology can bring peace, understanding and healing to herself and her clients, she made the transition from running beautiful restaurants, to being of service to her clients as a Kinesiologist – so that others can also experience the transformative power of Kinesiology.

Kim’s training began at Chi Kinesiology School. She was guided by one of the world’s leading ICPKP teachers, Nicole Hutcheson. *ICPKP: International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice

Her passion is helping others create and maintain balance, by assisting with pain, improving movement, reducing stress and overwhelm – these are all energetic imbalances. Kim believes that through balance, we find joy, peace, vitality and access to our full potential.

She strives to create a warm, safe and open space for her clients, and in their own time, they work together to achieve the goals and intentions they set.

Denise Howells

Certified Individual & Relationship Counsellor

Denise is a valued Clinical Member of Australian Association of Family Therapists (AAFT) and has been practicing since 2008.

She began her studies of Counselling & Psychotherapy at The Cairn Millar Institute, then went onto studying Social Science (Family Therapy) at Swinburne University.

After completing her Couples Specialist Training with Relationships Australia, she furthered her interest in psychoanalytic thinking through The Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist (VAPP) training programme.

She is also a qualified Tuning In To Kids® facilitator and holds a Certificate IV. In Training and Assessment.

What she loves most about counselling, is how to help people acknowledge, understand and manage their emotions. With curiosity, she works to help people think and feel their way to more satisfying and meaningful lives.

Her passion lies in all aspects of relationships, especially the relationship one has with themselves. She deeply believes that relationships are central to our well-being and she enjoys working with Individuals and couples to help create a more respectful and connected relationship.

Lucy Found

Practitioner of Ayurvedic Healing

Lucy is an Āyurvedic practitioner dedicated to bringing the wisdom of the elements to all curious hearts. Lucy graduated from the Ayurvedic Institute in 2018 where under the guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad found her place in the healing art of Āyurveda.

Focusing on a practical approach to everyday wellness and women’s health, through touch and tenderness Lucy delivers the medicine of this ancient science with warm and loving hands.

Geoffrey Bonwick

Practitioner of Kinesiology and Shiatsu

Geoffrey is a Kinesiology and Shiatsu practitioner. He has been in practice for 26 years and has clinics in Brunswick, Adelaide as well as Rebalance Wellness. He has also worked in Germany from 2006, a visit which also led to him studying Family Constellation work and incorporating constellation patterns and intergenerational family patterns into a bodywork setting.

As a student of Neural Organisation Technique, which focuses on meeting and unravelling the body’s primary survival programs, he had early exposure to trauma-based training and has made this a central part of his practice.

As a trainer at the Australian Shiatsu College as well as at Fire Element Acupressure, he brings the insights of Traditional East-Asian medicine, with its version of connection between body, emotion and thought to all his treatments.

He especially values working with people who are prepared to undertake a journey of releasing past pain (physical or emotional), past patterns and creating a more integrated, resilient body/mind system. This state best supports an easier, more present experience of life, better health and overall constitutional balance.
